Careers

IKODB works on CNC software, machine controls, retrofits, custom machine systems, commissioning, and industrial automation. The work is practical and technical, with software decisions tied closely to real equipment, operators, and production requirements.

There may not always be a posted role. If your background is relevant to this type of work, you can still send a note through the contact page. This is especially relevant for STEM students, recent graduates, and early-career people who want exposure to CNC, automation, manufacturing, software, electronics, robotics, or controls.

Relevant areas

Useful backgrounds include software development, mechanical design, electrical work, controls, robotics, manufacturing, machining, CAD/CAM, testing, documentation, and field service.

Past experience does not need to be formal employment. Class projects, shop work, lab work, code samples, robotics projects, repair experience, technical portfolios, and practical builds are all useful context.

What to send

Include a short description of what you have worked on, what you are interested in, where you are located, your availability, and any links that show relevant work.

For contractors or more experienced candidates, include the type of work you usually take on, typical project scope, availability, and preferred engagement model.
